Dear valued customers,
In relation to COVID-19, Eastward Energy has proactively taken measures to protect the health and safety of our employees and our communities.
Please note that Eastward Energy offices will remain closed until further notice but we are committed to maintaining normal operations and will continue to provide reliable energy to all homes and businesses in the communities we serve.
We are taking all steps recommended by our public health authority and by the provincial government. We have implemented the following actions:
- Restricting business travel
- Applying social distancing
- Implementing recommended self-isolation practices
- Cancelling group meetings and leveraging technology to continue communications
- Practicing good hygiene
- Heightening cleaning protocols
If preparing for a site visit: You may be asked by a Customer Care Representative or Field Technician about recent travel outside of Canada or your health status related to COVID-19, to enable us to provide service in your home. This information will be used for service purposes only and will not be stored. We kindly ask that you notify us ahead of time if anyone at your home or business has flu-like symptoms or has travelled outside Canada in the last 14 days, so we can adequately protect our employees.
We are operating at a heightened level of emergency preparedness and staying closely connected to recommendations from public health authorities and medical experts.
