We are pleased to warmly welcome Kim West as a new independent director to the Eastward Energy Board of Directors. Kim assumes the director role joining other dedicated community stakeholders including Greg Aarssen, Bert Frizzell, Phil Knoll and Steve Parker.
Ms. West brings extensive experience in executive management, entrepreneurship, leadership and public affairs. Currently Ms. West is President of Royer Thompson where she advises Boards, CEOs and executives on recruitment, leadership and organizational strategy.

Prior to this Ms. West was a partner and chief client officer for NATIONAL Public Relations, based in Toronto, contributing to the transformation of the firm’s largest Canadian office with responsibility for the growth, innovation and profitability of the health, marketing, investor relations, corporate and public affairs practices. Prior to becoming a partner in NATIONAL in 2012, Ms. West spent over 20 years in Atlantic Canada and over a decade as a co-owner of a pre-eminent communications advisory firm with offices in Halifax, Saint John and St. John’s.

Ms. West has her Institute of Corporate Directors designation and currently is Chair of the Board of Directors of Medavie Inc., is a director of the Canadian Association of Blue Cross Plans and is a past director of several community and business organizations.
